beautiful day!
Well, I don't have a picture to document this day, I just wanted to let you all know what a wonderful day I had. Today was my families year anniversary for being sealed in the temple. What an amazing year it has been. We have been so blessed since that day. Juan and I were able to go to the temple this morning after JJ went off to school. They asked us to be the witness couple. I had never experienced that before. It was so wonderful. I never felt so relaxed in the temple. My mind and heart opened and the spirt was so wonderful. I am thankful for my testimony of this wonderful gospel which allows us to be together forever.

Today was the first day back to School for JJ. I was able to go to work late so I could see him leave this morning. My baby is in 5th grade. WOW! I am not sure how I feel about that. But weather I like it or not it is happening.
Once again he will have two teachers. In the morning he will be with Miss Boone. Who served her mission in Chile, Vina Del Mar, One of the places we will be seeing. She will teach math, science and social studies. In the afternoon he will have Miss. Michelak. She is from Argentina. Also the Daughter of JJ's pediatrician. So both of his teachers speak Spanish. It will be nice. they will be getting his work ready for him so he can take it to Chile. I know it will not be fun doing home work on vacation but we will have to do it.
I called home to see how school went on the first day. JJ said "It was terrible" I asked why? He said "They made him think" That is one horrible day.

Legos at the Utah County Fair
The awesome Lego display!!
One thing I forgot to mention was Juan and his band Los Hermanos de Los Andes. Played at the fair that night. Yeah, I was kind of hoping we would be there at the same time. NO, We were in and out so fast. We were home in Provo before Juan even started down to Spanish Fork. So we didn't get to see Juan play. I was very sad.
Utah County Fair
So MaLinda and her kids and JJ and me all went to the Utah County Fair Last Friday. It was interesting. I had never been to it before. And well it just wasn't like the State fair that Aunt Karen would take us to as kids. I was really disappointed. They did have a big building with all the craft, and produce entries. there were some really pretty Quilts. MaLinda and Becca spent time looking at those. There were also a very large legos display. They had Harry Potter, Nights, pirates, and star wars stuff. MaLinda took a few pictures to show Josh. He would have been impressed.
Of course I am sure you all guessed JJ's favorite part. It was the rabbits. He really wanted to take them home with us. He is so desperate for a pet. He just needs to learn to take care of them. I bought him two gold fish the other day .28$ at walmart. How bad could it be if you spend only 28 cents. so we bought 2. Well, by the time Juan got home from work the first one was dead. The second one died sometime in the night. It really just doesn't like JJ should have a pet. Walmart would give me back my money if we brought the dead fish in and my receipt. I decided I would live with the loss. I sure my bank account can live with that.
Ok back to the fair. We saw the animals, watched them fluff the cows, looked at the hot tubs, bought cotton candy, and cinnamon nuts, looked at all the venders and we were out of there in less than 1 1/2 hours. I remember spending the whole day at the State fair and not seeing it all. Well, At least we had fun hanging out with MaLinda and her kids

ONE MONTH AND COUNTING

Yes!!! In one month we will be flying to chile. We are so excited. I hope I get everything done that needs to be done. I think of things and I tell JJ to remember. I really hope he remembers. I need to start carrying a note pad with me so I can write things down. I guess if I don't remember than it wasn't important.
We are so relieved. Juan got his passport from Chile in the mail yesterday. Well, it really only had to come from Las Vegas. But I was still really worried.
We Had the missionaries over for dinner a few weeks ago. That was fun because one of the elders was from Canada, no big deal but his dad was from Chile. It was fun to talk to him about going there. He was there not too long ago so he gave us a few tips. Like have cash with you when you get to chile so you can pay to get into the country. I hope I don't have to pay to get out too. I may not have anymore money by the time we leave. we can't wait.
