Swine flu

Well it has hit our house. Yes, JJ has the swine flu. The doctor didn't do the nasal swab to confirm but from his symptoms that is what she diagnosed him with. He had a small cough on Friday. Than Saturday after the hayride and the pumpkin patch he didn't feel well. Sunday when I got home from work he looked bad. He had the chills, Fever of 101.6, body aches. So Monday I left work early to take him to the doctor. So anyway He is on an anti viral and an anti bacteria. She was worried that he would get pneumonia on top of the flu because his lungs were very congested. She also told him to stay home this whole week from school. It is too bad that he only had school on Monday and Tuesday this week. I also got to take time off to spend with him. I am lucky enough to have sick leave were Juan does not. So He is going to work and I am staying home.

Today JJ is feeling much better. He is up and boarded. He is wanting to go with the Stevenson's to Mt pleasant to check on the house. I really want to go but I know he needs to be home and isolated. I am very thankful this was a mild case. He has recovered really well.

Juan and I have lucked out so far we are still very healthy. Juan is always healthy it is all that Garlic he eats.
